Colors, Culture, and Camaraderie: Celebrating Boishakhi Utsob 2026

Happy Pohela Boishakh to everyone! Welcoming the Bengali New Year is one of our most cherished traditions, and this year was no exception. On April 15, 2026, the main headquarters of GRM Consulting Services Limited (GRMCS) transformed into a vibrant hub of cultural festivity as we celebrated “Boishakhi Utsob 2026.”

The core vision behind this celebration was to pause our fast-paced corporate routines, connect with our rich cultural roots, and strengthen the bonds of our wonderful team.

A Sea of Red and White: The Traditional Attire and Decor

From early morning, the usual corporate aesthetic of our office gave way to a colorful rural carnival theme. The workspace was beautifully adorned with traditional Alpona (floor art), colorful paper crafts, Kula, and Dala (bamboo baskets). To match the festive spirit, the entire GRMCS team arrived dressed in traditional Pohela Boishakh attire—with women elegantly draped in red-and-white sarees and men sporting classic punjabis.

A Culinary Journey: The Authentic Bengali Feast

No Boishakhi celebration is complete without food, and the lunch arrangement was the absolute highlight of the day. Served in traditional clay pottery, the team indulged in a classic feast of Panta-Ilish, an array of mouth-watering Bhortas (mashed lentils, potatoes, eggplant, and dried fish), and traditional curries. The meal concluded on a sweet note with local delicacies, including sweet yogurt (Doi), traditional sweets, and Khoi-Muri.

Cultural Engagement and Reflections

Following the grand lunch, the second half of the day featured an interactive cultural session. The multi-talented team members of GRMCS filled the room with energetic poetry recitals, traditional folk songs, and plenty of laughter. Our leadership team also took a moment to reflect on the company’s achievements over the past year and shared inspiring words for driving GRMCS to greater heights in the New Year.

Looking Ahead

Beyond the festivities, events like these rejuvenate our team spirit and remind us of the power of unity and community. A huge thank you to the GRMCS Management and the organizing team for putting together such a memorable day.

May this New Year bring endless joy, prosperity, and success to the entire GRMCS family and our valued clients. Shuvo Noboborsho 1433!
